Abstract

In November 2018, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced an increase in the index from 135.02 in October 2018 to 135.37 in November 2018, resulting in inflation of 0.26 percent.

Based on calculations, inflation for the calendar year (point to point) January-November 2018 was 2.41 percent and inflation year on year (yoy) November 2018 compared to 2017 was 2.86 percent. Of the seven expenditure groups, five groups experienced inflation, namely the processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group at 0.85 percent; health group 0.42 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group 0.39 percent; transport, communications and financial services group 0.23 percent; and the education, recreation and sports group, clothing group, 0.02 percent. On the other hand, the foodstuffs group experienced deflation (decreased by 0.20 percent); and the clothing group by 0.05 percent.

Of the two monitoring cities in Lampung in November 2018, all experienced inflation. Bandar Lampung inflation was 0.25 percent, and Metro inflation was 0.27 percent.
