The average price of grain (GKP) for farmers in August 2018 rose 6.95 percent

Abstract

During August 2018, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 48 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality grain group of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP). No quality grain group of Milled Dry Grain (GKG) was found.

The highest price for grain at the farmer level reached Rp. 5,500.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency. The lowest grain price reached Rp. 4,000.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety found in Gading Rejo District, Pringsewu Regency. This price is above the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.

At the milling level, the highest price of grain is IDR. 5,650.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety found in Trimurjo District, Central Lampung Regency, while the lowest price for grain in the GKP quality group is Rp. 4,050.00 per kg with the Ciherang variety found in Gading Rejo District, Pringsewu Regency. This price is above COGS, namely Rp. 3,750.00 per kg.
