During July 2018, the Grain Producer Price Survey
recorded 48 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality grain
group of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP). There were no quality grain groups found,
Milled Dry Grain (GKG) and low quality grain groups.
The highest price for grain at the farmer level
reached Rp. 5,300.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety
found in Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency. The lowest grain
price reached Rp. 3,900.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the emerging
variety found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency. This price is above the
Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.
At the milling level, the highest price of grain is
IDR. 5,375.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Ciherang variety in Labuhan
Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency, while the lowest price for grain in
the GKP quality group is Rp. 4,025.00 per kg with the emerging variety found in
Palas District, South Lampung Regency. This price is above COGS, namely Rp.
3,750.00 per kg.
The price of grain at the farm level rose in July. The
average increase in the price of the GKP quality group at the farmer level was
4.20 percent from Rp. 4,304.55 per kg to Rp. 4,485.42 per kg. With the same
quality group, the price of grain at the milling level increased by 4.33
percent from Rp. 4,388.45 per kg to Rp. 4,578.44 per kg.
