Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in August 2018 reached US$291.67 million, a decrease of US$68.00 million or 18.91 percent compared to exports in July 2018 which were recorded at US$359.67 million. Compared to August 2017, the export value of August 2018 was recorded at US$375.42, a decrease of US$83.75 million or a decrease of 22.31 percent.

The five main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in August 2018 were coal; animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; various chemical products; as well as rubber and rubber goods.

The decline in exports in August 2018 compared to July 2018 occurred in the four main categories of goods, namely animal/vegetable fats & oils, down 43.18 percent; various chemical products fell 29.09 percent; coffee, tea, spices fell 2.65 percent; and rubber and rubber goods fell 2.16 percent. The only main category of goods that experienced an increase was coal, which rose 16.74 percent.
