Development of Exports and Imports in Lampung Province, November 2018

Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in November 2018 reached US$236.75 million, a decrease of US$82.77 million or 25.91 percent compared to October 2018 exports which were recorded at US$319.53 million. When compared to November 2017, the export value of November 2018, which was recorded at US$298.08, decreased by US$61.33 million or a decrease of 20.57 percent.

The five main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in November 2018 were animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; coal; wood pulp/pulp; as well as preparations from fruit/vegetables.

The decline in exports from November 2018 to October 2018 occurred in the four main categories of goods, namely animal/vegetable fats & oils, down 18.07 percent; coffee, tea, spices fell 27.64 percent; coal fell 40.67 percent; and processed fruits/vegetables fell 20.81 percent. The main category of goods that experienced an increase was wood pulp/pulp which rose 13.12 percent.
