Average Grain Price (GKP) for Farmers Increased by 4.36 percent

Abstract

During June 2018, the Grain Producer Price Survey recorded 59 observations. Observations were dominated by the quality grain group of Harvested Dry Grain (GKP). No grain quality group for milled dry grain (GKG) was found.

The highest price for grain at the farmer level reached Rp. 4,950.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with the Jasmine variety found in Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. The lowest grain price reached Rp. 3,800.00 per kg for GKP quality grain with emerging and strained varieties found in Palas District, South Lampung Regency, and Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. This price is above the Government Purchase Price (HPP), which is Rp. 3,700.00 per kg.
