Abstract

In June 2018, the Lampung Composite CPI experienced an increase in the index from 133.97 in May 2018 to 135.18 in June 2018, resulting in inflation of 0.91 percent. Based on calculations, inflation for the calendar year (point to point) in June 2018 was 2.27 percent and year on year (yoy) inflation in June 2018 was 2.80 percent.

Of the seven expenditure groups, six groups experienced inflation, namely the foodstuffs group experienced inflation (increased by 1.84 percent); processed food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group by 0.20 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel group at 0.02 percent; clothing group 1.35 percent; health group 0.03 percent; and the transportation, communications and financial services group 2.42 percent. Meanwhile, the education, recreation and sports groups did not experience changes in the index (either inflation or deflation).
