Lampung Province Trade Balance, Surpulsed US52.09 Million in September 2017

Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in September 2017 reached US$300.00 million, a decrease of US$75.42 million or 20.09 percent compared to exports in August 2017 which were recorded at US$375.42 million. Despite this, exports in September 2017, when compared with September 2016, which was recorded at US$261.99 million, still increased by US$38.01 million or an increase of 14.51 percent.

The five main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in September 2017 were animal/vegetable fats and oils; coffee, tea, and spices; fresh coals; preparations from fruit/vegetables; as well as rubber. The increase in exports from September 2017 to August 2017 occurred in the three main categories of goods, namely coal, up 277.41 percent, processed fruit/vegetables up 16.65 percent, and rubber and rubber goods up 5.36 percent. The other two main categories of goods, namely animal/vegetable fats and oils as well as coffee, tea and spices, experienced a decrease of 40.70 percent and 24.33 percent respectively.
