Lampung poverty rate in March 2017 decreased 0.17 points compared to September 2016

Lampung's poverty rate from the results of the National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) in March 2017 reached 13.69 percent. Compared to the previous semester conditions (September 2016) Lampung's poverty rate decreased 0.17 points, from 13.86 percent.
In line with the percentage decline, the number of poor people in Lampung in March 2017 also decreased by 8.05 thousand people to 1.132 million people compared to the poor population in September 2016 which amounted to 1.140 million people.
In March 2017, the level of inequality of Lampung population expenditure as measured by Gini Ratio was recorded at 0.334. This figure decreased by 0.024 points when compared with Gini Ratio September 2016 which was 0.358. Meanwhile, if compared to the Gini Ratio of March 2016 which amounted to 0.364, Gini Ratio in March 2017 decreased by 0.03 points
