Abstract

 Lampung poverty rate of the counting results of the National Socioeconomic Survey (Susenas) September 2016 reached 13.86 percent. Compared to the previous semester conditions (March 2016) Lampung poverty rate declined 0.43 points, from 14.29 percent.
 In line with the decrease in the percentage, the number of poor people in Lampung in September 2016 also decreased by 29.82 thousand people become 1,140 million compared with the poor people in March 2016 amounted to 1,170 million.
Rural
 a concentration of poverty in which 15.24 percent of the people categorized as poor. This figure is equivalent to 912.34 thousand. While the urban population is poor as much as 10.15 percent or 227.44 thousand. During the period March 2016 - September 2016, both urban and rural areas has decreased the percentage and number of poor people. In urban areas reduced by about 5,95 thousand inhabitants (3.55%), whereas in rural areas is reduced by about 23.87 thousand inhabitants (2.88%).
 poverty line Lampung Province September 2016 amounting to Rp. 368 592 per capita per month, up 1.01 percent compared to March 2016. The poverty line 74.94 percent contributed by Commodity Foods, the largest share of consumption of rice, cigarette filters and eggs. While the Non Food Commodities which accounted for 25.06 percent mainly influenced the consumption of housing, electricity, and gasoline. The poverty line in urban areas is higher than rural areas versus the Rp.398.378 Rp.357.792.
