Abstract

The percentage of poor people in March 2023 was 11.11 percent, a decrease of 0.33 percentage points from September 2022 and a decrease of 0.46 percentage points from March 2022.

The number of poor people (residents with expenditure per capita below the Poverty Line) in March 2023 was 970.67 thousand people, this condition was better than conditions in September 2022 which reached 995.59 thousand, a decrease of 24.92 thousand people. The number of poor people decreased by 31.74 thousand people compared to March 2022 of 1002.41 thousand people.

The poverty line in March 2023 was recorded at IDR 559,011 per capita per month with the composition of the poverty line in urban areas of IDR 610,614 per capita per month and the non-food poverty line in rural areas of IDR 534,575 per capita per month .
