Abstract

The labor force in August 2018 was 4,232.1 thousand people, a decrease of 163.8 thousand people compared to February 2018 and an increase of 159.6 thousand people compared to August 2017.

The August 2018 TPT was 4.06 percent, down 0.27 points compared to the August 2017 TPT (4.33 percent). In absolute terms, the number of job seekers (open unemployment) has decreased by 4.6 thousand people or down 2.59 percent over the last year.
