Abstract

The economy of Lampung Province in the second quarter of 2018, measured based on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices, reached IDR 84.93 trillion and GRDP at constant prices in 2010 reached IDR 58.98 trillion.

Lampung Province's economy in the second quarter of 2018 grew 5.35 percent, stronger than in the second quarter of 2017 (y-on-y) of 5.03 percent. In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Construction business field at 13.12 percent; while the provision of accommodation and food and drink also grew at around 11.85 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Consumption Expenditure Component of Non-Profit Institutions serving Households at 21.59 percent.

Lampung Province's economy in the second quarter of 2018 experienced growth of 4.53 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Accommodation and Food and Drink Provision business field at 10.86 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Government Consumption Expenditure Component at 15.27 percent.
