Abstract
The working population in February 2017 increased by 150.8 thousand people compared to the situation in August 2016 and by 227.3 thousand people compared to the situation a year ago.
Relatively speaking, Lampung's unemployment rate showed a decline from 4.62 percent in August 2016 to 4.43 percent in February 2017. When compared with February 2016 (4.54 percent), the unemployment rate fell by 0.12 points. In absolute terms, the number of job seekers (open unemployment) has increased by 5.6 thousand people or an increase of 3.03 percent over the last year.
The number of workers who are ready to work (employed and unemployed) shows an increase in the number of workers by 149.5 thousand people compared to August 2016 and by 232.9 thousand people compared to February 2016.
