Abstract

The total export value of Lampung Province in August 2017 reached US$375.42 million, an increase of US$69.58 million or 22.75 percent compared to exports in July 2017 which were recorded at US$305.84 million. Compared to August 2016, exports in August 2017 were recorded at US$270.64 million, an increase of US$104.78 million or an increase of 38.72 percent.

The five main categories of goods exported by Lampung Province in August 2017 were animal/vegetable fats & oils, coffee, tea, spices, processed fruit/vegetables, wood pulp/pulp, and rubber and rubber goods. The increase in exports in August 2017 compared to July 2017 occurred in three main categories of goods, namely animal/vegetable fats & oils, increasing by 122.92 percent; Processed fruits/vegetables increased by 10.85 percent; wood pulp/pulp rose by 4.49 percent, while the two main categories of goods experienced a decline, namely Coffee, Tea, Spices down 15.53 percent and Rubber and Rubber Goods down 6.61 percent.
