June 2017, Bandar Lampung Municipality experienced an inflation of 0.54 percent due to an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 129.92 in May 2017 to 130.62 in June 2017. Five expenditure groups contributed to inflation in Bandar Lampung Municipality,, the group Foodstuffs contributed to inflation by 0.11 percent; Finished food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco by 0.01 percent; Housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel by 0.29 percent; Clothing by 0.02 percent and transportation, communication & financial services group by 0.11 percent. While health and education, recreation, and sports groups do not contribute to inflation.
