Abstract

Official Statistics News No. 02/05/18/Th.XIII, 1 May 2013 1 After experiencing inflation for the previous three months, the city of Bandar Lampung experienced deflation this April. There are three expenditure groups that contribute to the formation of deflation in Bandar Lampung City, namely the foodstuffs group that contributes to deflation of 0.49 percent; clothing group at 0.08 percent; and the ready-made food, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco group at 0.02 percent. Meanwhile, housing, water, electricity, gas and fuel groups; and the health group made a positive contribution or restrained the deflation rate of 0.10 percent and 0.01 percent respectively. Meanwhile, the other two groups did not contribute this month. Price changes in the seven expenditure groups caused deflation in Bandar Lampung City of 0.48 percent
